At present, a large number of clinical and experimental studies have confirmed that castration therapy plays an important role in the pathogenesis of neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC). Some patients with metastatic prostate cancer undergo metastatic prostate cancer after castration therapy (ADT) will gradually develop into NEPC.
