年老多病者多吃些富含蛋白质的瘦肉、动物肝、鸡汤、禽肉、鱼类、蛋类、豆制品等,同时吃些花生、绿豆、玉米、芝麻、核桃、莲子、桂圆、红枣以及新鲜蔬菜和水果。冠心病等心血管疾病患者应偏食黑、白木耳加冰糖。冬天可多吃黑芝麻、花生油、菜油等。植物油应多吃,少食动物油。慢性便秘、慢性咽炎、溃疡患者偏食玉米、海带及蔬菜水果,这些食品含较多的粗纤维,能润肠通便。慢性气管炎、哮喘、肺结核患者这些患者冬天宜多吃羊肉,以达到温中补虚之功效,也可常吃木瓜炖冰糖
