Our main products are civil concrete prefabricated components and sanitary ceramic products. There are 428 employees in the whole factory, of whom only 5 are technical cadres, accounting for 1.2%; women workers are more, accounting for 40.2%; second and third grade young workers account for 82.9%. The average staff level is only 2.76. The company’s weak technical power and poor management level, coupled with the impact of ten years of turmoil, have resulted in poor product quality and corporate losses. The cumulative loss from 1976 to 1978 reached 1.1 million yuan. On the basis of comprehensive corporate rectification, we began to learn from the second half of 1979 to learn about total quality management methods.
