滇粤河道的开修是雍正时期中国西南交通史上的一件大事,其发生有着深刻的经济与历史背景。清世宗对开修滇粤河道一事极力支持,可谓是声势浩大,耗资颇多,但竣工之后并未起到最初所预计的巨大作用。因西南地区特殊的地理因素,滇粤河道竣工不久后便被废弃,最终成为一场劳民伤财的历史闹剧,而根本的原因则是由中国封建社会落后的缺乏民主思想的君主专制制度所致。
The opening of the river courses in Guangdong and Guangdong Provinces was a major event in the traffic history of China’s southwestern China in the Yongzheng period. Its occurrence had profound economic and historical background. Qing Shizong strongly support the opening of the Yue River in Guangdong, it can be described as massive, costly, but did not achieve the initial estimate after the huge role. Due to the special geographical factors in southwest China, the river courses of Guangdong and Yuexiu were abandoned shortly after they were completed. Eventually, this became a historical farce that was a waste of people and money. The fundamental reason was that the monarchy of monarchy lagging behind the Chinese feudal society lacks democracy thought.
