Under the background of global changes such as the increase of atmospheric CO2 concentration and the increase of nitrogen deposition, the study on the interaction of carbon and nitrogen cycles and the functional coupling of terrestrial ecosystems is the basis for revealing these uncertainties and also can reflect the biological productivity and nutrients of forest ecosystem The law of action involves the ecological mechanism of the sustainable productivity of woodland. Ecosystem carbon cycle and water cycle to stomatal behavior as the node, coupled into the organic whole. Therefore, focusing on the ecosystem scale, some advances and existing problems in the coupling of carbon, nitrogen and water are summarized, and the future research directions are prospected.
