世界经济总是在经历这样一个轮回:当全球性危机爆发时,各国之间能够求同存异、齐心协力、共同应对危机,然而当危机接近尾声时,国别利益就常常会凌驾于全球利益之上,各种国际冲突和摩擦就接踵而至。本轮全球金融危机也不例外。当世界经济从金融危机中缓慢复苏之际,汇率战与贸易战的阴影不期而至,与全球金融海啸最黑暗时期各主要国家的集体行动形成鲜明对比。
The world economy is always undergoing such a cycle: when a global crisis breaks out, countries can find common ground while putting aside differences and make concerted efforts to cope with the crisis. However, when the crisis is coming to a close, national interests often override global interests. Various international conflicts and frictions ensued. The current global financial crisis is no exception. As the world economy slowly recovered from the financial crisis, the shadow of the exchange rate war and the trade war came unexpectedly in stark contrast to the collective actions of the major countries in the darkest of the global financial tsunami.
