在国内的外国美术研究,曾被称为西方美术研究,后来又改称世界美术研究,有不少学者提出我们对国外艺术的研究不能只看到西方,还应该努力去发现和研究广大的非西方世界的艺术。但是在国内,外国美术研究的条件一直以来较为有限,持续关注非西方美术的愿望想要实现还需要相当长的时间。本期旅美学者鲍玉珩借助一手资料对国内较为陌生的,几近于认识盲区的中美洲国家和地区现当代艺术发展的一些基本情况做了梳理。法兰克福学派以对文化工业及后现代主义艺术的深刻批判著称于世,是研究现代艺术批评理论不容错过的重要理论流派,本期陶锋的文章介绍了法兰克福学派的代表人物阿多诺的关于艺术中的“丑”的理论。阿多诺通过对艺术中的“丑”的发展历程的总结和对其在现代艺术中的重要作用,向世人重新揭示了艺术存在的应有本质,指出丑在现代艺术中完成了对美的救赎,而只有“精神”才能救赎后现代艺术。
In foreign countries, the study of foreign art was once called the study of western art and later the study of world art. It is an important school of theory that should not be missed in the study of the theory of modern art criticism. In this issue of Tao Feng, the article introduces Adorno’s representative of Art in Frankfurt School. In the “ugly” theory. Adorno has rediscovered the essential nature of the existence of art through the summary of the development course of “Ugly” in art and its important role in modern art.
