素质教育作为一种新的教育观和教育实践已逾十年 ,但各地普遍的情形是 :小学轰轰烈烈搞素质教育 ,高中扎扎实实抓应试教育 ,初中进退维谷不知如何。因而处于基础教育链中间环节的初中教育成为实施素质教育的“瓶颈”。我们吴江市教育科研协作区六校 ,就打破这一“瓶颈”进行了一定程度的实践 ,探索出实施素质教育的若干策略
