书法作为中国传统文化的精髓,在漫长的历史发展进程中,不断进行着书写形式的转换,而这种转换的背后有一个很重要的因素,那就是艺术观念在起变化。中国汉字的产生最早是为了实用,就是不包含任何书法概念的日常书写,书法的出现是伴随着日常书写的发展而逐渐从无到有建立起来的。可以这样说,日常书写是中国古代书法的主流,除却必要的场合,几乎所有的书写都是围绕实用而展开的。这个过程一直持续到魏晋,魏晋以后出现了专门的书法创作形式——手卷,纯粹意义上的书法概念才逐渐清晰起来。宋代以

The earliest production of Chinese characters was for practical purposes, that is, everyday writing did not contain any concept of calligraphy. The appearance of calligraphy was gradually established from scratch with the development of daily writing.
