In the past 30 years of reform and opening up, our country is experiencing a great period of change from a planned economy to a socialist market economy. This is a blessing to economists. We not only feel the pulse of the endless development of our motherland, but also participate in it with our own knowledge and wisdom, so that we can offer advice and suggestions for the cause of the reform and opening up in the motherland. Therefore, it is a question that I often think about how to shoulder the sacred mission and social responsibility conferred by history, live up to the trust of the country and people, integrate into this great era and make due contributions. Recently, I found the answer from the new book entitled “Thinking Footprint” by Dr. Chen Wenling, a famous economist (Economic Science Press, November 2006).
