The multi-year observation data (COADS) of the world’s ocean surface water temperature (SST) are classified by time and space classification analysis methods, and the samples of the temporal and spatial variations of the SST anomaly in the world ocean are obtained. Several types of synchronic and quasi-synchronous pole-teleconnections that appear in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans are divided and described; the global modalities of the SST anomaly in the world’s oceans are delineated. This modality has its own unique form throughout the entire equator of the world and has excellent temporal correlation with the global mode of the atmospheric pressure over the ocean surface and can describe the El-Nino phenomenon.
