It is reported that the Japanese shipyard has recently negotiated with the country’s large steel companies about the price of steel used for ships. In this year’s negotiations on marine steel prices, steel mills with little revenue have strongly demanded an increase in steel prices, including the long-term large-scale ordering of steel prices with additional conditions. In response to this, the shipbuilder is required to raise objections, requesting that in view of the changes in the foreign exchange rate, the depreciation of the yen, and the poor performance of the shipyard, etc., with reference to foreign steel prices, reduce or maintain the current steel price. In the negotiations on the price of steel products, the supply and demand sides launched an unprecedented fierce dispute, the final result of steel prices is likely to maintain or close to the current level.
