主持年会的同志要我来讲几句话,我感到为难。因为我脱离中学数学教学实践,一讲就难免脱离实际,但又很难推脱。一年前我曾说过,不要把数学教育从整个教育中割裂出来,也不要把中学数学教育和小学、大学的数学教育割断。我现在仍然这样看。但我今天不准备谈这个问题。提高中学数学教学质量,是大家都关心的问题,是个大题目,它涉及的面很广。我今天想就其中的几个具体问题谈点看法。
The comrades who presided over the annual meeting asked me to say a few words. I feel embarrassed. Because I am out of the middle school mathematics teaching practice, it is difficult to avoid being separated from reality in the first lecture, but it is difficult to shirk. One year ago, I said that we should not separate mathematics education from the entire education, nor should we cut off mathematics education in middle schools and mathematics education in elementary schools and universities. I still look like this now. But I am not ready to talk about this issue today. Improving the quality of middle school mathematics teaching is a problem that everyone is concerned about. It is a big topic and it covers a wide range of issues. I want to talk about some of these specific issues today.
