朱志荣的中国文学观具有强烈的思辩色彩、自觉的理论意识和开放的研究视野。他从自己的文论观和美学观出发,使理论研究与中国古代文学的鉴赏和批评良性互动,强调中国文学的民族特性。他把意象视为中国文学的重要表征,认为中国文学从创作到欣赏都体现着基于感性而不滞于感性的领悟方式,从而超越了传统的表现说与再现说的对立;将古代文学研究的审美尺度具体概括为情、貌、言三个方面,指出古代文学中人、文同构的生命意识,论述了作家的个性与时代精神的辩证关系。他认为文学史研究要在史实的基础上重视史识,肯定文学史家发现规律的主导意识;认为古代文学研究应该体现当代性,优先阐释在当代能引起共鸣的作品,合理借鉴西方理论,体现当代的精神风貌。
Zhu Zhirong’s view of Chinese literature has a strong intellectual color, conscious theoretical awareness and open research vision. Starting from his theory of literary theory and aesthetics, he made theoretical research interact with the appreciation and criticism of ancient Chinese literature and emphasized the national characteristics of Chinese literature. He regarded the image as an important characterization of Chinese literature. He holds that Chinese literature, from creation to appreciation, embodies a perceptual approach based on perceptual rather than semitic sensibility, thus transcending the confrontation between traditional expressionism and reproduction. The aesthetic standards are summarized in three aspects: love, appearance and expression, pointing out the life consciousness of the human and the same culture in ancient literature, and expounding the dialectical relationship between the writer’s personality and the spirit of the times. He believes that the study of literary history should emphasize the historical knowledge on the basis of historical facts and affirm the leading consciousness of the discovery by law historians of the law. It holds that the study of ancient literature should reflect the contemporary nature, prioritize the works that resonate in the contemporary world, draw lessons from the western theories rationally, The spirit of style.
