新颖陷阱和规模陷阱是导致创业企业失败的主要原因,因此如何帮助创业企业克服这两种陷阱就成为创业管理理论和实践亟待解决的关键问题。制度理论指出,作为重要的非正式制度要素,管理者关系(商业关系和政府关系)在创业企业克服新颖陷阱和规模陷阱过程中发挥了重要作用。在我国制度转型的背景下,创业企业面临着由于新和小导致的新颖陷阱和规模陷阱。商业关系可以帮助创业企业克服新颖陷阱和规模陷阱,而政府关系妨碍克服新颖陷阱和规模陷阱。基于中国139家创业企业问卷调查的实证研究支持了上述结论。
Novel pitfalls and size pitfalls are the main reasons that lead to the failure of start-ups. Therefore, how to help start-ups overcome these two pitfalls has become a key issue to be solved urgently. Institutional theory points out that as an important element of an informal system, the relationship between managers (business relations and government relations) plays an important role in the entrepreneurial enterprises overcoming the novel trap and the scale trap. In the context of the institutional transformation in our country, start-ups are confronted with new traps and scale pitfalls caused by new and small ones. Business relationships can help start-ups overcome novel and scale pitfalls, and government relations prevent them from overcoming new pitfalls and scale pitfalls. The empirical research based on the questionnaire survey of 139 Chinese start-ups supports this conclusion.
