我们试制一种无钴高速工具钢(5F6)是为了适应超高强度钢和耐热合金的切削加工的需要。超高强度钢的强度大、硬度高;耐热合金的热强性好,导热系数小,加工硬化,因而刀具必须具有较高的硬度、红硬性和热硬性,以及良好的韧性、耐磨性和导热性。近年来我国冶金工作者研制高速工具钢,取得许多可贵的成果,如一机部工具研究所与重庆钢厂等合作制成的91号含铝无钻高速钢,本溪钢厂试制的B201和B211,大连钢厂的95W18Cr4V,以及其它等,大部分已投入工业性生产,在实际使用中考验和改进。试验钢号的化学成分如表1所示:
