中国书法源远流长。几千年来,书法的发展始终遵循着一条千古不变的规律,即在继承的基础上求得发展。探索这一规律,如果从东方文化的发展特性来看,则可以说它贯穿了传统文化中的各个领域及发展的每一时期。就书法而论,书法作为独具中国特色的民族艺术之一,其发展的基础就是以继承为核心的。中国传统书法中所蕴含的各种理念、审美倾向、技巧手段等等,能在不同时代不同作者的探索中得到解读与借鉴,并求得发展,正是因循了这样一条原则。临摹古代优秀的书法典经之作,正是实现这一原则的必经步骤。应该说,背离了这条路则一事
