目的探讨健康教育在老年骨质疏松症(OP)患者中的应用价值。方法选取2010年7月至2015年5月吉林大学第四医院老年病科收治的218例老年OP患者作为研究对象,按随机数字表法将其分为观察组(121例)与对照组(97例)。两组患者均予以常规治疗OP药物,对照组患者给予常规护理,观察组患者在常规护理基础上进行健康教育。比较两组患者治疗后6个月OP知识掌握、生活方式改善、遵医嘱服药、临床疗效及骨折发生率、治疗前后骨密度(BMD)值。结果观察组患者OP知识掌握、生活方式改善、规律服药率均明显高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(均P<0.05);观察组患者治疗的总有效率明显高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组患者骨折发生率为1.7%(2/121),明显低于对照组的8.2%(8/97),差异有统计学意义(χ2=5.624,P<0.05);治疗后6个月,观察组患者的BMD值明显高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论对OP患者实施健康教育,可提高患者疾病相关知识水平和自我管理能力,增加骨密度,有效缓解疼痛,提高生命质量。
Objective To investigate the value of health education in the elderly with osteoporosis (OP). Methods A total of 218 elderly patients with OP who were admitted to the Department of Geriatrics, the Fourth Hospital of Jilin University from July 2010 to May 2015 were selected as subjects and divided into observation group (121 cases) and control group (97 cases) by random number table method example). The two groups of patients were treated with conventional OP drugs, the control group of patients given routine care, observation group patients on the basis of routine care for health education. The patients in both groups were compared for 6 months with OP knowledge, lifestyle improvement, prescribed medication, clinical efficacy and incidence of fracture, BMD before and after treatment. Results In observation group, the knowledge of OP, lifestyle improvement and regular medication rate in observation group were significantly higher than those in control group (all P <0.05). The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P <0.05). The incidence of fractures in the observation group was 1.7% (2/121), which was significantly lower than that in the control group (8.2%, 8/97), the difference was statistically significant (χ2 = 5.624, P <0.05). At 6 months after treatment, the BMD of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion The implementation of health education in patients with OP can improve patients’ disease-related knowledge and self-management ability, increase bone mineral density, effectively relieve pain and improve quality of life.
