《乌鲁木齐晚报》(以下简称《晚报》)二版设有《读者来信》的固定栏目,每周一期,发表群众意见,反映群众呼声,颇受读者欢迎。目前,《晚报》每天接到读者来信20多件,其中批评与揭露的信件居首位,这体现了人民群众对当前改革、开放、搞活政策的关心,也说明读者对《晚报》的信赖。但是,我们从工作实践中看到,由于各方面的原因,多数批评来信,包括盖有公章的读者来信,在反映情况时,往往与事实有出入,带有不同程度的片面性。如果调查稍不深入,匆忙地就事论事去解决具体问题,
