伊斯法罕(Esfahan),伊朗中部城市,始建于阿契美尼亚王朝,曾是多个王朝的首都,也是丝路南段一大重镇,为伊朗文化、商贸和手工业中心,民间有“伊斯法罕半天下”的说法。历史上伊斯法罕曾历经过数次毁后重建,现存古迹大多属于伊斯兰时代,最知名的是伊玛目广场(原名国王广场),它是世界第二大广场,其四面及附近有伊玛目清真寺、阿里卡普宫、谢赫·劳夫清真寺、大巴扎和四十柱宫。1989年,伊斯法罕和我国西安市结为友好
