Abnormal SNAIL gene expression plays an important role in the invasion and metastasis of gynecologic tumors. SNAIL gene at the cellular level regulation of cell adhesion, the overexpression will lead to epithelial cells - mesenchymal transition, causing tumor development, invasion and metastasis. Various inducing factors can induce SNAIL overexpression through a variety of signaling pathways, and sequentially activate downstream related targets, thereby causing tumor cell metastasis. In-depth study of SNAIL family members can not only further elucidate the mechanism of action of SNAIL superfamily, and provide a theoretical basis for further study of SNAIL related tumor treatment strategies.
