他们身兼外交官和警察两种身份,与当地警方一起抓捕外逃犯罪嫌疑人,为海外华人华侨撑起安全保护伞他们是警察,但有着外交官头衔;他们常年驻在海外使领馆,同时接受公安部的业务指导。他们就是驻外警务联络官。自1998年迄今,我国公安部门不断向海外派驻专职警务人员,目前已向19个国家派驻了30名警务联络官,初步构筑起国际执法合作网络。他们协助国内外警方侦办大案
They both serve as diplomats and police officers. Together with the local police, they arrest suspects who flee the flight and hold security umbrellas for overseas Chinese. They are police officers but have the title of diplomats. They are stationed in overseas diplomatic or consular missions all the year round and at the same time Ministry of Public Security to accept the business guidance. They are overseas police liaison officers. Since 1998, China’s public security department has continuously deployed full-time police personnel overseas. So far, 30 police liaison officers have been deployed to 19 countries and a preliminary network of international law enforcement cooperation has been established. They help domestic and foreign police to investigate large-scale cases
