2008年9月15日,美国雷曼兄弟公司申请破产保护,金融危机开始席卷全球。七年至今,全球经济复苏步伐艰难,分化加剧,仍未完全走出危机阴影。欧元区经济复苏疲弱,日本复苏后续乏力,新兴经济体增长失速,反倒是金融危机的发源地美国复苏势头相对稳固。特别是近三年来,美国GDP平均增速超过2%,2014年三季度甚至高达5%,失业率也从最高点10.2%一路直降至5%。
September 15, 2008, the United States filed for bankruptcy protection Lehman Brothers, the financial crisis began sweeping the globe. Seven years to date, the pace of global economic recovery has been difficult and the division has worsened. It has not yet completely out of the shadow of the crisis. The sluggish economic recovery in the euro zone, the weak follow-up in Japan and the stalled growth in emerging economies mean that the United States has enjoyed a relatively steady recovery in the wake of the financial crisis. In particular, in the past three years, U.S. GDP grew at an average rate of more than 2%, up to 5% in the third quarter of 2014 and the unemployment rate plummeting from a peak of 10.2% to 5%.
