In July 2000, the investigation team of the Chinese Federation of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries unveiled an investigation into the situation of the encroachment of woodland in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and wrote a survey report on “Invasion of Woodland and Unfair National Law”. The survey report reflects the fact that a large amount of forestland has been invaded and the forest resources seriously damaged in Guangxi, which has drawn great attention from the leaders of the State Council and the NPC. Vice Premier Wen Jiabao gave a directive on August 9 of the same year. After the instructions from Vice Premier Wen Jiabao were issued for 16 months, the investigation team once again went to the forest area of Guangxi to conduct a follow-up investigation of the investigation and handling of the problem of the occupation of state-owned forest land. The survey results show that after receiving the instructions from Vice Premier Wen Jiabao, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region attaches great importance to the problem of state-owned forest land encroachment. Chairman Li Zhaozhuo and Vice-Chairman Sun Yu gave important instructions and explicitly requested that the issue of state-owned forest land encroachment be investigated as one Maintain social stability, protect the forest resources, enhance the ecological environment, and ensure the sustainable development of local society. After a great deal of meticulous work, the investigation and handling of state-owned forest land has achieved initial success. However, due to the complexity of the case itself and many other reasons, there are still some outstanding problems, but also need to further increase the relevant efforts.
