扁平化管理即指通过减少管理层次,使决策层和操作层之间的中间管理层级尽可能的少,转而增加管理幅度。通过减少中间管理层级可以使问题在发生现场迅速得到解决,减少信息的滞后。因此,对于总厂各生产行政单位设计中取消工区一级管理,并采取横大班管理的方式由分厂(车间)直接对班组进行管理,形成“分厂(车间)→班组”两级管理模式。这既可压缩管理层级、降低管理成本,又可使得原本相互独立、各自为营的班组成为一个整体,为整体效益的提升奠定了基础。
