中国是一个幅员辽阔,地理条件复杂,自然资源丰富的国家。据统计,中国现有高等植物3万种,占世界高等植物种类的10％以上,其中中国特有植物约有200多个;中国有脊椎动物4400多种,约占全世界现有脊椎动物总数的10％,并保存有大熊猫、金丝猴、白暨豚、扬子鳄等一大批特有的珍稀动物。此外,中国还保仔有大量类型独特和珍贵稀有的自然遗迹,那便是:
China is a country with vast territory, complicated geographical conditions and rich natural resources.
