作者通过静脉给药探测 ̄3H-天麻甙元和 ̄3H-天麻素在小鼠体内的分布,并采用硅胶薄板层析法对注射 ̄3H-天麻素的小鼠组织提取液的放射性成份进行分析,研究了二者在小鼠体内的分布和代谢过程。结果显示:天麻素(Gastrodin)可以透过血脑屏障进入脑内,并在脑、血及肝中迅速分解为天麻甙元(Gastrodigenin),然后以天麻甙元的形式存留在脑组织内,发挥中枢镇静作用。天麻甙元和天麻素都主要经肾脏排泄,天麻素在小鼠体内可能存在肠肝循环。
