下东大街位于成都市内环城区东部,西北—东南走向,西起纱帽街南口,东至老东门大桥为止,系成都老城区的主要干道之一。2009年3月,为配合成都恒锦公司的用地需要,成都文物考古研究所对下东大街9号地块开展了考古勘探和发掘工作。该工地现处下东大街东段北侧,东靠天仙桥北路,再往东即为岷江支流、原成都护城壕之一的府河,西面与油篓街和东顺城南街相邻,西北方向距大慈寺仅百余米(图一)。此次勘探、发掘过程中,我们在整个平面呈L形的区域内选点布探方3个,编号09CDHT1～T3,规格分7米×7米和10米×10米两种,实际发掘面积共计约175平方米,清理揭露出包括房址、排水沟、墓葬、灰坑在内的十余处遗迹现象,并出土了一批数量众多、
The Lower East Side Street is located in the eastern part of Inner Ring Road, northwest to southeast of Chengdu, south of Qima Hat Street and east of the old Dongmen Bridge. It is one of the main roads in the old city of Chengdu. In March 2009, Chengdu Archeology Institute of Archeology carried out archeological exploration and excavation on the 9th block of Xia Dong Street in line with the needs of the land used by Chengdu Hengjin Company.
