盐湖卤水组成复杂,除含有大量碱金属、碱土金属外,尚有多种微量元素存在,其中稀土元素就是一例。但由于多数盐湖卤水介于中性或微碱性,稀土元素和某些重金属均已沉积,因此盐湖卤水中稀土元素含量甚微。我室现有的三元络合物萃取光度法测定稀土总量的方法虽然灵敏度和选择性均佳,但不完全适应卤水中低含量稀土元素的测定。基于这点,在盐湖卤水中测定微量稀土元素需要一个高灵敏度的方法,同时对大量共存元素必须进行分离。
Salt Lake brine composition is complex, in addition to containing a large number of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals, there are still a variety of trace elements, of which rare earth elements is an example. However, due to the majority of salt lake brine between neutral or slightly alkaline, rare earth elements and some heavy metals have been deposited, so salt lake brine rare earth elements content is minimal. The existing method of ternary complex extraction spectrophotometry for the determination of total rare earths has good sensitivity and selectivity, but it is not fully adapted to the determination of low content of rare earth elements in brine. Because of this, the determination of trace rare earth elements in salt lake brine requires a highly sensitive method, with a large number of coexisting elements having to be separated.
