Christine Rossetti, one of the most talented female poets in the history of British literature, is also a legendary and mysterious spiritual poet, but in China she has long been unnoticed. As a teacher of the seventeenth-century spiritual poet George Herbert, Christina integrates aesthetic, melancholy and delicate art of Pre-Raphaelite, so her poetry has a double tension: under religious devotion Love and hopelessness in the self-made homeless eagerness. Melancholy poetry, difficult to eliminate the warmth of love; seemingly calm chant, surging emotional torrent. In fact, this seemingly contradictory and unified poetic realm is her true spirit and artistic style. Crissina, whose life is religiously distressed, undoubtedly stems from her religious sentiment in poetry, shakes her poems with shackles and dancing; and her excellent poetry and the enthusiasm of life are able to rush Religious siege.
