今年恰逢诺曼底登陆60周年纪念,为了纪念这个伟大的日子,游戏厂商纷纷推出了自己的二战作品,如《D-day》,《闪电战:燃烧的地平线》、《代号:装甲》、《战士:二战英雄》、《战时指挥官:欧洲战场》等。一时间,二战话题遍布各大游戏论坛,其中讨论最激烈的当属乌克兰开发商Best Way制作曲《战士:二战英雄(Soldiers:Heroes of World War Ⅱ)》。前些时候,Codemasters推出了游戏DEMO,供玩家们测试,游戏在读取界面上标注,此DEMO的完成度为80%,与正式版还有一定的差别。DEMO推出一段时间后,一些国外游戏迷就制作了近10多个游戏扩展包(MOD),让玩家有更多的游戏体验。扩展包如此之快,论坛如此之热,是近年来非常少见的。
