Objective To observe the effect of high-flux dialysis on the end stage of diabetic nephropathy. Methods Forty-six patients with diabetic nephropathy treated by dialysis were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 23 cases in each group. The control group was treated by low-flux dialysis and the observation group was treated by high-flux dialysis. After 6 months, the treatment effect and complication of the two groups were observed and compared. Results The fasting blood glucose (FPG), insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) and advanced glycation end products (AGEs) in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P <0.01). The complication rate in the observation group was 13.04% , Significantly lower than 34.78% of the control group (P <0.01). Conclusion The application of high-throughput dialysis in patients with end-stage diabetic nephropathy can effectively reduce the chance of complications and has an exact curative effect. It is worthy of clinical application.
