[编者按]朱新予教授是我国丝绸界德高望重的老前辈、老专家，浙江丝绸工业界的老领导，浙江丝绸工学院的老院长，也是我们这本《丝绸》杂志的创刊人之一。从年轻时抱着“实救国”、“教育救国”的理想为振兴丝绸业奔赴出力，到解放后积极协助党和政府大力恢复丝绸生产、发展丝 [Editor’s note] Professor Zhu Xinyu is one of the oldest predecessors and veterans of the silk industry in our country, the old leader of Zhejiang silk industry, the old dean of Zhejiang Silk Institute of Technology and one of the founding members of our magazine Silk.
