6月11日,广州海关驻邮局办事处快件科在查验快件时,发现三箱仅申报为“纪念品”的快件内有乾坤。经查验,箱内为非常精美的《中国钱币》、《中国《历代古钱币》、《北宋钱币》、《货币与书法艺术》、《百国硬币珍品鉴赏》、《伍拾真民国时期至纸币》、《中国银行历史货币集》等纪念册,分别镶嵌有我国历代古钱币(包括铜币与纸币)28册1811枚(张)。历史跨度从先秦至民国,包括秦、汉、唐、宋、元、明、清、民国等朝代。经专家鉴定,证实其中有13册钱币集共161枚(张)属国家禁止出境文物,有15册钱币集共1650枚(张)属必须凭广东省文物出口管理委员会签发的“文物出口许可证”方能出境文物。目前,海关已按国家有关规定对1811枚(张)古钱币分别予以处理。
