以往的中学德育工作主要有两个方面:一是强调理想前途教育,二是强调遵纪守法教育,这些教育都是必要的,但却忽视了对学生进行健康的心理素质教育,往往由于过份的强调理想、前途教育、遵纪守法教育,而忽略了受教育者个体的感觉、知觉、情绪等心理现象,把中学生存在的一些心理障碍,简单的上纲上线、进行纪律处分,使德育工作适得其反。而中学生的心理现象,反映着教育者的个体思想和情感的内心活动,又常常在整个教育活动中起到重要的作用。
