警察体育是公安院校的专业基础课程，它是实现公安教育培养目标的主要基础课程之一，警体课程建设的好坏将直接影响公安干警与犯罪分子斗争的战斗力，警体课程结构的优化是实现警体教育目标的关键所在，本文对当前警体课程的设置情况进行了分析，并提出了优化课程结构的方法和方案。
