“Catering to marketing” is actually to cater to consumers’ psychology, think about consumers in all aspects, and allow consumers to favor their products or services because of merchants’ “catering to”, so that both parties can benefit. This astute marketing concept is a smooth way to enhance corporate brand and create considerable benefits. In recent years, in some large and medium-sized cities in China, some star-rated hotels have seized the business opportunity of the annual college entrance examination and launched a “pick-to-greet” service that is popular among the candidates and parents who entered the hotel. For example, in order to alleviate the stress of students, a hotel specially invites psychologists and catering nutritionists to design humanistic service measures for the hotel. When the students are eating, the dishes prepared by the hotel are not only nutritious but also very suitable.
