外资超市正遭受着越来越多的业内外挑战。昔日在华不可一世的洋超市如今似乎正在经历“囧途”。自2013年上半年起,全球最大的零售商沃尔玛陆续关闭了在中国市场的部分门店,其中既包括郑州、杭州这样的较大城市,也包括较小的二三线城市。包括行业层面的影响以及企业之间的竞争等多重因素似乎正在左右着零售巨头们的中国战略。
Foreign-funded supermarkets are experiencing more and more industry and external challenges. In the past, the unscrupulous foreign supermarkets in China now seem to be experiencing “embarrassing way ”. Since the first half of 2013, Wal-Mart, the world’s largest retailer, has closed some stores in the Chinese market, including larger cities such as Zhengzhou and Hangzhou, as well as smaller second and third tier cities. Multiple factors, including industry-wide implications and competition among companies, seem to be shaping the Chinese strategy for retail giants.
