In the 19th century, the controversy between “stained-glass decorations” was an important controversy in the history of art. It was well-known that the two sides held a relative position on the colors of ancient Greek sculptures and architecture. In addition to the article shows the two sides in the basic position and evidence on the differences. It also clarifies the differences and congruencies between the two sides beyond the category of archeology and reveals the overall relationship between disagreement and agreement based on the architecture of the same period.
