Objective To investigate the relationship between simple obesity and 25-hydroxyvitamin D in children with different degrees. Methods 526 preschool preschoolers were divided into obesity group, overweight group and normal group according to BMI index. The contents of 25-hydroxy vitamin D in the two groups of children were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results The average 25- (OH) -D content and adequate rate in obese group were significantly lower than those in over-group and normal group. The average 25- (OH) -D content and adequate rate in obese group were significantly lower than those in normal group There was a significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). The BMI index of all subjects was negatively correlated with the vitamin D content (r = -0.241, P <0.05). Conclusion The content of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in obese children is low and inversely proportional to the degree of obesity. It is recommended to add appropriate amount of vitamin D.
