脯氨酸氧化酶(POX)是p53下游的靶基因,在多种肿瘤中都呈低表达状态。研究发现POX不但能通过活性氧簇的生成促进胞内、外途径介导的肿瘤细胞凋亡,也能通过促进缺氧诱导因子1的降解与增强细胞的自噬能力使肿瘤细胞凋亡。POX作为控制癌细胞增殖代谢途径中重要的组成部分,成为值得研究的抗肿瘤分子靶点。现就POX与肿瘤抑制的研究进展予以综述。
Proline oxidase (POX), a target gene downstream of p53, is low-expressed in many tumors. The study found that POX can not only promote intracellular and extracellular pathway-mediated tumor cell apoptosis through the generation of reactive oxygen species, but also induce tumor cell apoptosis by promoting the degradation of hypoxia-inducible factor-1 and enhancing the autophagy of cells. POX as an important part of the control of cancer cell proliferation and metabolism pathway, become a worthwhile study of anti-tumor molecular targets. The research progress of POX and tumor suppression are summarized.
