Vaginal trichomoniasis is widespread and may be of great importance in carcinogenicity. It has been reported that trichomonas vaginitis can cause special cellular changes, including cell dysplasia and nuclear abnormalities. The incidence of cancer in patients with vaginal trichomoniasis was significantly higher than in women without trichomoniasis.
