建筑物地基是直接承受构造物荷载影响的地层。地基应具有良好的稳定性,在荷载作用下沉降均匀,保证房屋的沉降均匀。如果地基土质分布不均匀,处理不好就会产生不均匀沉降,将影响到建筑物的正常使用与安全,轻则上部墙身开裂、房屋倾斜,重则建筑物倒塌,危及生命与财产安全。引起地基产生不均匀沉降的原因主要有:一是地质勘察报告的准确性差、真实性不高。有的勘察不按规定进行,如钎探中布孔不准确或孔深不到位;有的抄袭相邻建筑物的资料等,这些问题都容易造成设计人员分析、判断、设计出现错误,使建筑物可能产生不均匀沉降,甚至发生结构破坏。
