Traditional underwater acoustic methods of detecting underwater small targets should add new technologies, magnetic and electromagnetic sensors, and the use of these technologies to complement existing systems is particularly important for detecting buried mines and temporary explosive devices. Magnetic sensors have long been used to detect underwater targets and have achieved acceptable levels of detection in detecting submarines. Magnetic sensors that are onboard (installed on aircraft or helicopters) have been successfully used, and the possibility of using them on drones is being verified. Detecting small ferrous or non-ferrous underwater targets is another more complex issue. Commenting on selected results from studies conducted by the United States, France, NATO Underwater Research Center and Poland in the field of detecting weak magnetic underwater targets using magnetic exploration methods, some of the measurement systems for detecting underwater targets were evaluated, And chose the best solution. At the same time, preliminary results on the non-ferromagnetic metal model of using electromagnetic methods to detect mines and temporary explosive devices are also given.
