桃溪变质核杂岩构造位于华南的武夷山脉南段。该变质核杂岩构造由顺层塑性流变的内核、分划性右行斜落韧性变形的中间层、脆韧性右行滑落剪切变形的具薄皮构造特征的盖层组成“三层结构”。其间均为不同构造层次的剥离断层 (带 )分划 ,各剥离断层的上盘在下滑的同时右行走滑的特征也很明显 ,是一个具右行旋卷特征的变质核杂岩构造。该变质核杂岩构造于加里东期发育雏形 ,强烈隆升并定位于印支期 ,对燕山期及其以后的构造发展仍有一定控制作用。
The Taoxi metamorphic core complex is located in the southern section of the Wuyishan Mountains in southern China. The metamorphic core complex consists of a core of plastic flow along bedding, an intermediate layer of diagonal dextral ductile deformation at the right of the division, and a caprock with thin-skin tectonic features of brittle-ductile right- . In the meantime, all of them are delamination faults (belts) with different tectonic strata. The characteristics of the right-lateral strike slip are also obvious when the upper plate of each detachment fault slides down. It is a metamorphic core complex with a right-hand spiral volcanism. The metamorphic core complex was formed during the Caledonian embryonic development and strongly uplifted and located in the Indosinian Period. It still controls the Yanshanian and later tectonic evolution.
