Patients with severe congestive heart failure (CHF) often suddenly die of ventricular arrhythmias. However, most antiarrhythmic drugs have adverse reactions, especially negative inotropic effect, but can not be routinely used. The authors took a randomized controlled, parallel, double-blind study of changes in arrhythmias observed before and 12 weeks after treatment with Enalapril, an ACE inhibitor. The subjects were 20 chronic CHF (heart function Ⅱ ~ Ⅲ grade), 17 males and 3 females, aged 37 to 74 years. 14 cases of myocardial ischemia, idiopathic congestive cardiomyopathy in 6 cases. In addition to an exception have been furosemide (80 ~ 750mg /
