文明是世界历史研究中的重要单位。特别是在当今经济全球化时代,各文明间的多层次交往频繁进行,既有对话、合作,也有差异、分歧。由此角度看,世界历史进程就是不同文明互动交往的过程。有鉴于此,我们邀请四位学界同仁,分别从理论与实证研究角度,探讨“世界历史上的文明交往”。这不仅有利于深化对文明本身及文明交往的认识,而且有助于促进对当代世界史编纂理论和方法的了解。 Civilization is an important unit in the study of world history. Especially in the era of economic globalization, multi-level exchanges between civilizations have been frequent, with both dialogue and cooperation as well as differences and disagreements. From this perspective, the process of world history is the process of interaction between civilizations. In view of this, we invite four academic colleagues to discuss “exchanges of civilizations in world history ” from the perspective of theoretical and empirical research respectively. This will not only help to deepen our understanding of civilization itself and the exchanges between civilizations, but also help to promote understanding of the theories and methods for the compilation of contemporary world history.
