在中国画领域里,面临着诸多如高山峻岭般的大师,作为一名当代的国画家,其作品必须既要有传统,又要有自家成貌,同时还要好。这确实很不容易,因为对中国画的要求来讲,确实存在着一些特殊的标准,而大家都照此办理,其结果也就容易大致上差不多。当画面达到了一种比较新颖的视觉效果,但从传统审美标准来说,却又差很多韵味;当有了较醇的韵味,却又接近了大师的面貌,而少有独到的创造;或者既有个性特征,又是传统的,但还不够好,却还需要更多的修炼。
