Development status of the electronics industry The government’s policy of encouraging investment has enabled domestic production to develop rapidly, with an average annual increase in output value of 28%. Indonesia is a developing country with a population of 190 million. The huge market potential, a stable political situation and a rapidly developing economy provide favorable conditions for the rapid development of the electronics industry. The Indonesian electronics industry has a history of two to three decades. After 30 years, especially after the establishment of the electronic committee in March 1984, the government vigorously developed the electronics industry. In May 1986, the Indonesian government announced a new stimulus to the development of the electronics industry.
