当前中国图书馆界正在进行评估工作,全国县以上公共图书馆的评估、定级工作也将全面推开。它对改善和加强各级公共图书馆的管理和领导,促进图书馆工作全面、健康的发展,使图书绾工作趋向科学化、规范化,具有重要的历史意义和现实意义。为配合评估定级工作,本期选择评估工作中几个引人关注的问题编发一组文章,除了本文外,另有《浅议图书馆业务档案工作》、《美国图协评估图书馆在职培训情况的意见表》两文,以期引起交流探讨。 Currently, the assessment work of the Chinese library community is under way.
